Investigators Notes

Bryan Kaplan:I heard footsteps in the attic, as well as hearing a woman yelling from the upstairs area. Overall an interesting experience. Though I was disappointed in the EVP results (they turned out to be minimal).

Becky Ray:During this initial investigation the property owner was giving a tour and telling of incidents that have happened in each location. During this I heard a creak over our heads, then we all heard five steady deliberate footsteps coming from the attic. We had been in the attic not more than ten minutes earlier. We knew no one was up there, but we went to check and take photos anyway.
Later that night it was decided that a motion detector should be placed in the attic. Each time the detector was set and Bryan and Dee would start out the door or down the stairs to where Miranda and I were, the alarm would sound. After the third time this happened Miranda and I both heard a very loud "knock, knock, knock" as if someone were knocking on a door directly over our heads in a part of the attic that no one could get into (no plywood to walk on). This knock was not the type of sound that might have been something else, it was an intelligent rapping. I immediately asked Dee and Bryan if it was one of them, they both said no, and neither of them had even heard it.

Miranda Stark:In the limited time we spent in this house, the activity seemed to be almost non-stop for at least an hour and a half. During the walk-through we all heard the distinctive sound of footsteps overhead in what seemed to be the attic. Two of the investigators, Bryan and Dee, then headed up there to investigate this incident. They took a motion detector to the attic, set it in place, and left it to return downstairs. The instant they got to the bottom of the stairs the motion detection alarm began beeping, thus sending Bryan and Dee both back up to the attic. This happened at least three more times consecutively. At one time while the two of them were upstairs Becky and I were startled by three loud knocks that seemed to be coming from up above, but from an area in the attic where Bryan and Dee would not have been at the time. Upon questioning them they both confirmed not only had they not been in that area and not made the knocking sounds, but had not even heard them. When we all stepped out of the house to go outside, the lights behind us in the house flickered, and as we were preparing to leave we looked back towrd the house at two different times to see what appeared to be the form of a man standing in the windows looking out.

EVPS
Scream - 11:15 PM - 21st April, 2005 - Investigation 28
00:00 / 00:00

Bryan was on the stairs going from the top floor to the middle floor of the home when the motion detector went off. During the beeping of the motion detector an animal like scream is heard. The investigators did not hear the scream at the time.
