Becky Ray:This investigation was part of a paranormal investigation offered through the Atchison Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer Sprague:This was a public investigation set up by Atchison's Chamber of Commerce. It was our pleasure to help out again. Our group was asked to help the public with this investigation by giving some info on the place as well as some knowledge on how to use various EMF detectors and other equipment. Becky was the main lead on this investigation while Christina and I separated into other groups and lead others through out the house. This was my third trip to the Sallie House and I plan to review my audio as soon as possible and I will post anything of significance on our Audio Page. In the past I have had luck capturing many EVPS at this location so I am curious this year if I captured anything. We did have some interesting battery drainage with some of our recorders last night during the investigation. The most interesting location for me personally was in the basement we seemed to have some interesting personal and visual experiences as well as some interesting fluctuation with our equipment during some EVP sessions. While I, myself, did not visually experience what others seem to have claimed to have seen, I did feel for a short moment a very cold ambient breeze that I couldn't fully explain and this was during the same time our equipment seemed to be going off. I left my audio recorder in the basement and left it there while all the groups traveled up stairs to finish the remainder of the investigation for the night. All groups and people were accounted for at this time and nobody was in the basement. Only Class A evps will be posted.

Question: When did the phenomena start?

Answer: First reports were in the early 1990s, however it is possible activity was happening earlier and not discussed.

Question: Any cold spots?

Answer: Cold spots have been reported various places in the home, specifically in the kitchen area.

Question: Any physical attacks?

Answer: The family that lived in the home in the early 1990s reported numerous attacks of scratches appearing on the husband.

Question: How far back can you trace the history of the property?

Answer: The home was built around the turn of the century and most owners have been verified via property records.

Question: Have there been any deaths or violent occurances in the the property?

Answer: Three confirmed deaths in the home, possibly more.
