Investigators Notes

Becky Ray:This investigation was part of a paranormal investigation offered through the Atchison Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer Sprague:First, I'd like to thank Beatrice for her kindness and hospitality while we investigated her home. Such a wonderful and lovely lady! On this investigation I used my digital audio recorder and disposable camera. This investigation was set up through the Atchison Chamber of Commerce and was attended by two members of the Chamber of Commerce, myself, Becky, Christina, Jenny and group of public attendees. We had a wonderful public group with us who were there to experience what a paranormal investigation is like. After the introductions were made and Mrs. Shisler told us about her experiences, history of the family who lived there, and who she believed haunted the house, we started off with an e.v.p. session and various members of the group used equipment. We had various meters on hand for them to experiment with. It is interesting to note our EMF meter and our meter that detects radio wave frequencies both seemed to go off together at the same time and in response to certain questions and at times, certain people. We made sure that there were not any cell phones that were interfering or any other electrical hot spots that could have also interfered during our session, which is interesting to note. Some members of the public group reported seeing shadows in the living room area so we set up a laser grid experiment to see if anything of interest would happen. We did not see or notice anything of interest during both laser grid experiments. This was a public investigation so it was somewhat difficult to record audio for e.v.p.s. However, I have reviewed my audio and I believe I may have come across some possible e.v.p.s. I will correlate my findings with others in my group that are also reviewing their audio and we will post any recordings of interest, soon! Overall, it was an interesting investigation, with a great group of people and wonderful host! I look forward to going back soon!
